About Rishad Tobaccowala
Rishad Tobaccowala is a Senior Adviser to the Publicis Groupe where he has spent his entire 37 year working career most recently as its Chief Growth Officer and prior to that as its Chief Strategist. Publicis Groupe, is world’s third-largest communication firm with 80,000 employees.
Rishad was named by BusinessWeek as one of the top business leaders for his pioneering innovation and TIMEmagazine dubbed him one of five “Marketing Innovators”.
Over nearly four decades around the world has helped grow, found/co-founded or incubated a variety of companies including VivaKi, Leo Burnett, Starcom, SMG Next, Starcom IP, Giant Step, Play, and Denuo. Rishad has a BS in Mathematics from the University of Bombay and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

E.J. Schultz is the Assistant Managing Editor, Marketing at Ad Age and covers beverage, automotive and sports marketing. He is a former reporter for McClatchy newspapers, including the Fresno Bee, where he covered business and state government and politics, and the Island Packet in South Carolina. He has won awards from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers, the Jesse H. Neal Awards, the Association Capitol Reporters and Editors, the California Newspaper Publishers Association, the South Carolina Press Association and Investigative Reporters and Editors. A native of Cincinnati, Schultz has an economics degree from Xavier University and a masters in journalism from Northwestern University.
