YP Coffee Chats

Join the CAF YPs and senior leaders for a unique event designed to bring together industry leaders from all sides of the table to inspire, inform and involve young professionals in the Advertising  & Marketing community in current hot topics facing them and the industry. Coffee Chats panelists will discuss how the good, the bad and the ugly of 2018 has impacted the advertising industry. We will also look ahead to things we can expect in 2019 and what we can do to prepare for the year ahead.

Sherman Wright is the co-founder of Ten35 (www.Ten35.com), a marketing agency specializing in helping brands leverage culture as a competitive advantage.  An entrepreneur whose work and thought leadership has created award-winning campaigns for global brands including The Coca-Cola Company, Nike, MillerCoors, Verizon and Disney, his accomplishments have been recognized by The New York Times, Inc., Advertising Age, Adweek, Black Enterprise, and Crain's Chicago Business to name a few.

Sherman is active in his community and currently serves as the co-chair for Emerald South Economic Development Collaborative, an organization created to ensure neighborhood prosperity on Chicago' South Side during the construction of President Barack Obama's Presidential Center.  He also sits on the board of trustees for Francis W. Parker School, OneGoal, Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and serves as a member of the African American External Advisory Committee for Nielsen.   He has served on several nonprofit boards including the Chicago Urban League, A Better Chicago, American Heart Association-National Consumer Health and Quality Coordinating Committee, Kohl Children's Museum and Near North Montessori School.  Sherman is an inductee of the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame, an alumni of Crain's Chicago Business 40 under 40 and has been recognized by Texas A&M's Aggie 100 for leading one of the fastest growing Aggie-owned businesses. 

His entrepreneurial education began at Texas A&M University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. He is a lifelong learner with continued studies at Dartmouth Tuck Executive Education and completed Chicago United's Corporate Governance Executive Education program developed by the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business.
