As Managing Director of Draftfcb Chicago, Sauder is an integral part of the management team that leads the single largest concentration of ad talent in Chicago and the Midwest, and has helped to create unprecedented momentum for the agency that was formed in 2006 following the merger of Draft and Foote Cone & Belding.  Karen joined the agency in 2007, and took charge of a huge, diverse office. "She's one of the strongest voices on our senior management team and looked to by our entire agency - especially women - as a strong and inspirational, yet humble leader," said Mark Modesto, President of Draftfcb Chicago.

Karen will be honored at a luncheon on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the Westin Chicago River North, Grand Ballroom.  She joins the prestigious ranks of previous Ad Women of the Year including Lisa Cochrane of Allstate, Dolores Kunda of Lapiz, Fay Ferguson of Burrell, Yvonne Furth, Marlena Peleo-Lazar of Mcdonald's, and Carla Michelotti of Leo Burnett.
