The Chicago Advertising Federation (CAF) is pleased to announce Tony Weisman, CEO, DigitasLBi North America, as recipient of the 2015 Silver Medal Award. The CAF Silver Medal Award honors a distinguished member of the Chicago advertising community for his/her contributions and accomplishments. Tony will be honored at the CAF Silver Medal Award reception and dinner on January 19, 2016, at Morgan MFG in Chicago. Read more.

Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign has hired CAF member Burrell Communications, an African American advertising and media firm. Based in Chicago and Los Angeles, the firm is owned by two African American women, McGhee Williams Osse and Faye Ferguson, both seasoned marketing and advertising professionals. Read more.
How does "Native" advertising influence your campaigns? Tony Marlow, Head of Sales Insights at Yahoo!, will share the latest findings from a proprietary native advertising research study during "Cookin'" with Native," presented by Yahoo! and taking place December 10 at the Museum of Broadcast Communication. Tony will analyze how native advertising is being defined and embraced by marketers, as well as how consumers are responding and engaging with this latest form of digital advertising.
